Cameron Stead returns to PHIVE, Parramatta to deliver an eight-week foundational watercolour course in which participants learn the basics of watercolour painting, including colour mixing and paint application, and begin to develop skills in observation, composition and artistic expression.

The course begins Thursday 30 July 2026. This program has a waiting list and often fills quickly!

In the intermediate course we will build upon skills in watercolour mixing and painting techniques, with a focus on colour theory, composition, application and our developing artistic voices. Students have the choice to work with any subject matter throughout the course (for example, still life, landscape, abstraction) and will also be supported in developing a project or series of works of their own choosing.
